Cutter Suction Dredger CSD650 -25m
Cutter suction dredger CSD650 is a 26 inch dredger equipment with capacity of 7000 cubic meters per hour in mixture, which connecting 26 inch discharge diameter of pipe. The meaning of CSD means cutter suction dredger, 650 is the inner diameter of dredger discharge pipe, and -25m means the dredging suction depth can reach 25 meters.
However, comparing with standard cutter suction dredger CSD650, the -25 meters of cutter suction dredger 650 is working in much deeper working environment, where a ladder dredge pump is required. The ladder dredge pump is also named as submersible dredge pump is mounted on the ladder, where the submersible dredge pump will work in the water, touching the sand and soild directly, it is mounted near to the dredger cutter head.
Onboard dredge pump may be also required according to the transfer distance, the submersible dredge pump is normally used for short distance, whereas addition on-board dredge pump can take more pressure as a booster pump station to much longer distance.
