The Series CSD-450 cutter head dredge is both portable and truckable to inland locations. In addition, the dredge is capable of dredging up to 14 m. Features include:
• Two separate engines that operate independently to drive the pump and hydraulic system. This allows full hydraulic power to the cutter and winches even when RPMs are reduced on the pump something single engines cannot do.
• Most modern 20"dredge design in the world that incorporates Ellicott's world-renowned design technigues.
• The CSD-450 is able to dredge up to50'(15 m) depth allowing it to work in major shipping channels.
• Designed to Bureau of Veritas (B.V) Sheltered Water Rules and is suitable for a variety ofapplications including harbors, rivers, andsand mining projects.
• Hydraulic system was designed with a focus on efficiency resulting in lower fuel consumption and higher dredging systems performance.
Available types
The standardised series is available with a dredging depth ranging from 6-18 metres and a suction pipe diameter ranging from 300-650mm. Optional extras include increased dredging depths, anchor booms, spud carriage installations, swivel bends, and automation.
